Rebecca & Jeremy Wooten
Jeremy Wooten has worked as an Auctioneer over the last 10 years, focusing strongly on the study and disposition of Southern antiques and Americana. Within this time he has discovered some of the country’s most significant pieces and worked to place them into leading private collections and institutions around America. In addition to his work in the auction business he formerly served as chair of the collections committee at the University of South Carolinas McKissick Museums advisory council.
Rebecca Phillips Wooten, after working for several years in museums, graduated from the prestigious Winterthur Program in Early American Culture with a Master’s degree. She continued her work in the antiques field serving as cataloguer and appraiser with some of the country’s leading auction galleries. A published author, Rebecca enjoys researching the decorative arts and sharing her findings with fellow material culture scholars and enthusiast.
